Presentation of the book "Outside the barricades - fotoracconto of Reggio Uprising" 
Promoted and organized by Laurentianum, Wednesday 18 August at 21 in Holy Trinity Square in Marina di San Lorenzo (RC) will host the presentation of "Outside the barricades - Reggio Fotoracconto of Revolt" (City of the Sun Publishing), work by Fabio Cuzzola Valentina trust to tell the motion of Reggio. From July 14, 1970, starting day of the revolt of the people that all initially, first printing, labeled as fascist revolt, the right of the plume, riots and subversive troublemakers, today, 40 years later, in which all political forces the media are ready to review the positions of the time. The fight, as we know it was hard and exhausting, and left the field five victims and hundreds of injured and gave birth to the end of some leading figures in politics at that time: from the Mayor Ciccio Franco Battaglia, Giuseppe Rocco Reale Minasi . Even now and then, after 40 years, the revolt of Reggio raises interest and curiosity among historians and ordinary people and for the abnormal characteristics of the riot and for those long seven months of fighting. Fabio Cuzzola with his fotoracconto will try to relive those moments and retrace those steps. It will be part of its deliberations the Provincial President of Youth Action Francesco Spano who will paint the picture of the young political Right now: Spano will just make us understand if young people were able to collect the legacy of those who fought, for better or worse, for the city of Reggio Calabria. The historical aspect of the uprising will be entrusted to Franco Arillotta, a distinguished historian of Reggio Calabria, with tens of Publications assets and lecturer of History and Culture at the University of Calabria Mediterranea di Reggio Calabria.
