How To Get Your Party Bigger In Mount And Blade
Volterra on Android -
The Staff of Volterra Television these days experience deploying applications on mobile phones with Android platform (Google), type the new Samsung Galaxy_S .
Here's a screenshot of the first tests to bring Volterra on Android:
On the background you can see the editor of APP INVENTOR that allows us to create applications for Android mobile phone platform, soon world's most popular. We could not make some tests with some reference to Volterra on the right is one of the first simple applications built capable of Help provide a voice on port bow.
We are among the first to do these experiments in the area: INVENTOR APP requires a special authorization from Google that is often released only after several months of application.
We hope to be a stimulus to many young fans of the new frontiers of information technology to use these technologies so interesting for our area.

Città metropolitana e Rigenerazione urbana.
Agire sulla città fisica, economica e sociale
di Carla Maione
Perché la costruzione della città metropolitana non si riduca alla creazione di un soggetto sovracomunale a carattere burocratico, senza alcuna incidenza effettiva sullo sviluppo del territorio e sulla qualità urbana, ma al contrario metta in moto un progetto virtuoso per costruire una vera “nuova città” in grado di porsi come polo direzionale nel cuore del Mediterraneo, occorre porsi concretamente the objective of urban regeneration - that the policies of urban development and territorial aimed at improving the quality of life through better urban public space - and act on the territory after having investigated the social aspect, that is putting at the forefront of our the central act of each individual, and then combining the fields of social action with those PLANNING.
must therefore be a reflection on the actors and to involve planning and programming tools as appropriate, without neglecting ex ante what will be the most convenient practices, in given situations, to fully implementing the objectives of the programming and planning. By adopting certain practices - how to define (re-define, re-think, plan and re-design) the best strategies and tools - , rather than other, more suitable to other companies rather than those in which we operate, it should be analyzed the implementation processes through the study and evaluation of significant cases, acquiring the manner most innovative tools oriented to the development of a polycentric metropolitan city like that of Reggio Calabria.
If one aims, in particular, to act in a metropolitan city through urban regeneration, necessary, by a consolidated methodology, the examination of case studies to prepare themselves significant, and if possible to monitor them, examining similarities and differences in definition and implementation of this particular type of urban policies, with respect to the range of choices among those applying in metropolitan contexts. While remaining firmly anchored to the specificities of local contexts, it is possible to different experiences, established and tested in Italy and abroad, to compare the characteristics of different instruments for urban regeneration, to assess differences and / or convergence.
Turning his eyes to a not too distant past, in the last thirty years, numerous local and national governments recognized the importance of the connection between culture and economy trying to develop policies to strengthen these ties and increase the benefits they . Many European cities have therefore undertaken the development of urban policies in an attempt to promote themselves as creative cities, and districts in planning and cultural and commercial districts. The aim is to stimulate local economic development by supporting and promoting small local cultural industries.
So, we are witnessing the development of infrastructure and services for cultural production and planning of cultural districts that are trying to find the city with their traditional role as places of social life, of 'accessibility to services, activities, culture, combating environmental degradation and social reduced or even canceled these opportunities.
Recall that since the seventies, and especially in European and international contexts, urban policies, trade and culture began to assume greater importance in urban strategies, based on less rigid planning tools, but on participation, social equity, and more generally democratization of the urban space as a mirror / container for the revival of "public life" urban.
Since the turn of the eighties you say approaches that enhance the potential contribution of cultural policy in regeneration, urban economic and physical, and the second half of the nineties this convergence between culture and economy, urban policies, it is more accentuated, and the study and discussion on the relationship between city and territory, culture, creativity and economic development has intensified with the statement of the theories of "creative city" and "class creative ", and" cultural districts ".
This process has been encouraged by national policies of decentralization of powers, the need to adapt to economic and social changes caused by economic restructuring of the seventies and early eighties, the subsequent cuts in public spending, both locally and nationally. Today, the attempt to encourage sponsorship from the private sector, to monitor more effectively the local cultural resources and to improve administration, management and marketing of cultural products and services.
During a study trip in Europe, investigating the theme of the relationship metropolisation / regeneration, particularly in the case of the city of Copenhagen, referring to the 70s and 90s, to the early years of the new millennium, I wondered what could be the PROVISIONS a key urban policy at Community level, adaptable to our context, I was able to verify the feasibility of a range of assumptions regarding possible means of urban regeneration, finding adequate answers on how to be planned and designed, and should be revitalized as a whole urban / metropolitan.
La riorganizzazione dei territori metropolitani del Mezzogiorno, ad esempio, viene individuata come un’urgenza ineludibile which is reflected in the particularly critical conditions of cultural, socio-economic and infrastructure of metropolitan areas in the south of the country overall urban structure.
Another emergency identified above for urban systems in the South is the need to create and strengthen networks of medium and medium-sized cities and to connect them with the more established urban systems. In this case should encourage political network of the most dynamic, through the enhancement of functional relationships from the recognition of vocations and local identities up to the strengthening of social responsibilities through the use of the opportunities offered by the cultural dimension of development capable of producing scenarios of culture-based empowerment. And the process of building underground Reggina, which must point to a polarization around the urban centers as a major regional centers, must take this into account.
Let me conclude with some considerations regarding the implementation of urban regeneration policies in a context such as that of the metropolitan area of Reggio Calabria and its neighboring municipalities (cities not only because orbiting satellites / orbit at Reggio ' inside the new metropolitan area, but to consider, while respecting the identity and history, part of it): complex issue, because the complex is the object toward which actions are directed, and this is a great time to find unity within our culture that integrates policy choices, social and urban planning.
But what are the cultural conditions and assumptions to be taken?
policies of urban regeneration can have a dual role in determining the transformation of the metropolitan city: one part being an instrument of intervention can guarantee the outcome of the action, following a set of decisions, on the other hand, instrument knowledge, referring to the convertibility of a place.
Within a metropolitan area and / or metropolitan area (Reggio included), a plurality of nodes and poles waiting to be recognized and interpreted: every element, every single step of this entire mosaic requires a different intervention method of transformation that only a suitable design of polycentric together can provide.
is indispensable today, not only to consider the specificity of places, the permanence of settlement structures, respect the different quality of fabrics urbanized and non-enhancing cultures local, but reinterpret the procedures for training and development of different parts of the country, extolling the potential infrastructure with nodes and networks and intentional aesthetic, tradition, culture, identity and respecting the needs of the community.
Considering, for example, the actions implemented to address the issues of great social unrest, present in some parts of town, we understand that the rehabilitation of buildings and the surrounding environment is only the starting point: important element is the participation of the inhabitants, both in the planning phase in the implementation of the interventions. Only through the active involvement and participation of citizens is in fact possible to implement real change, through natural regeneration, even that of their experiences of exclusion and hardship, provided that, starting from their perceptions, usually negative and defeatist, it provides recognition of their knowledge, skills and knowledge.
Reiterating within large areas, and metropolitan area is among them, the centrality of the territory, read the tracks to reinterpret the features, forms sedimented over time, not to underestimate other dimensions of economic activities, social, functional and policies but rather recognize the severe constraints (choices) that policies aimed primarily at the physical territoriality has exercised and still exercises on the same social and economic relations, while on the contrary, the intervention should not only "physical", but an intense action of "social promotion ", identifying spaces and networks are signs of change, in ways of living and use the land.

History Thesis in Urban Planning: a shabby liturgy to the 'plot virtuous
"The management of the landscape in the Underground City," "The port of Reggio Calabria: Heart and city gate station", "Between Earth and Water", "Historical development of public space,"
" urban regeneration "," Noto: the Garden of Stone "," Greenways, lines in the landscape, "" The guardian of the two seas. "And the list goes on.
are all titles, fascinating I must say, the latest, and most important thesis on "Planning" (formerly "Planning, planning and environmental), many of which are being published at the Necklace "HARVEY" (Editrice "City of the Sun," director Prof. Enrico Costa). But a brilliant title, alone, is it? The fair and just dell'immaginifico, with little substance behind the title, perhaps to conclude in an apparently non-bureaucratic a poor route, or the brilliant conclusion of a training exciting?
A course of study, we have in mind, providing the pupil, the future planner planner, tools, cultural, scientific and technical, to professional and / or employees of public administrations, the skills to coordinate, manage and build tools government of the territory, with particular reference to the design, planning and policies related to the transformation and upgrading of the city, land and environment, without excluding access to the world of public and private research.
A path, we would like to reiterate that traditionally provides a solid basic preparation and specialist recognized and emphasized, even in the last session of the state examination for a license to practice, not easy and is based on two written tests and or practical, by a continued success of the graduates of nearly one hundred percent. The same is not true, unfortunately, and as proof of the validity of the training face to face "rather than “a distanza”, per gli allievi delle università telematiche che affrontano con scarso successo lo stesso esame presso la “Mediterranea”.
La ricostruzione della storia urbana, ha come obiettivo lo studio dell’impianto urbano e la sua evoluzione, passaggio obbligato per la progettazione urbanistica finalizzata alla riqualificazione degli insediamenti storici e periferici, criteri che, basandosi on the recovery of a city, are operated on a thorough understanding of the origins of the urban structure and its transformations.
The historical survey on the dating of the building stock, the configuration of the road system and public spaces vacant and built up, leading to an accurate assessment of the subject of recovery, suggesting appropriate categories of action and the threshold of operability on the environmental heritage.
in weaving the plot of the reconstruction of urban history, it is essential to the contribution of civil and economic history of a city and a territory, important piece to set the project to improve and preserve those qualities che costituiscono beni preziosi per l’intera comunità.
In recent years
Reggio offered, including in the preparation of thesis in Urban Planning, other issues such as under investigation in this field: from history to the landscape, from the redevelopment of buildings and neighborhoods to go on specific issues such as recovery through the wetlands.
Jobs that become challenges "intriguing," discovery of a place as "sacred space" of social relations, the incredible value of identity, pivotal point around which stories are born, sharing, ways of life.
fertile ground for experimentation with new strategies is certainly the advent of Reggio Metropolitan City, the starting point for the management and development of the Reggio Calabria area and beyond, towards which puts focus on a knowledge and making in light of the spatial singularity for centuries the unique setting of historical events.
A white sheet on which to affix signs of significant issues to resolve discrepancies and inventing, or simply re-creating, future scenarios in terms of increasing the life of the community through the wise use of resources.
Territories have always tortured, subjected all'incuria man and his insensitivity, which now seem to rebel against injustice.
Each thesis, which had as its theme the territory of Reggio Calabria, has always been a unique identity extraordinarily sensitive and attentive to the future management of the territory, capturing each student the desire for change delinenando practical strategies for the control, development and the management of it. From the square
scenario of social life, where you will find all memories of a community where ideals have changed, forms and functions in relation to the needs of the changing economic and political interests, places which reflects the collective identity and found meanings and lost traditions, which become the subject of regeneration and integration with the rest of the city, recovering the ranks of those processes of transformation and modification of social thought, to landscape as a driving force for strong and cohesive regional integration, looking at a development synergies between the sites and communities by upgrading the neighborhoods, the recovery of "fragments" urban transport use concrete to create a network of mobility.
arise from these assumptions are correct recovery strategies, turning to look at the abandoned areas of great strategic importance as a port, uncontrolled stratification of fragments of identity, reconciling, in a new dialogue, allowing the sea and the city to rewrite and edit the values and aesthetic potential, economic and cultural places back to the community.
study phenomena such as spontaneous sprawl of neighborhoods, or the construction of an expression of unease between humans and the environment that led to congestion and inconvenience of abnormal looking for a dialogue between the design and control alternatives for improving the livability of the places.
Today, after the technological revolution we are experiencing, we are used to discuss the information and alternatives, and also recognize that if we talk about the need for "knowledge" do not invent anything new.
is interesting, however, consider the possibility that the educational and scientific contributions we make available, in fact, the use of technology makes it possible to develop a dynamic knowledge-based dynamic as are the transformations of urban and territorial planning, which, in its various stages, should be monitored as an open process that requires a continuous supply of information.
In this contribution the university makes available to its intrinsic characteristics, is able to represent the architectural and urban phenomena, combining and sharing data diverse, complex and implementable over time, becoming an instrument of knowledge for a variety of subjects.
is therefore to be considered a "tool" that innovative system of analysis and interpretation of scientific research and the enthusiasm of the young future professional make up what "added value" for the territory and the integration of science instruments to which it has used traditionally, as it provides the ability to play computer-processing project, able to support or to replace the traditional concept of discipline.
In operational terms, the research on the processes of city government, plans and policies aimed at the restoration work as well as urban planning, try to identify the level of innovation of technological, organizational, procedural and managerial.
The thesis, addressed in these terms, is that moment of reflection on the relationship between the policies of recovery, the physical, social administration, wants to find planning tools used for the regeneration of areas, to outline the possible connections with the process of technological innovation, past the static concept of architecture or urban planning as a mere exercise and watching his aesthetic dimension of the case, there is the need for assumptions, budgets and ongoing monitoring of information in dynamic and changeable time.
The ability to bind to objects on maps (buildings, isolated areas, infrastructure), information on morphological characteristics, uses, or notations historical environmental information, is that exercise training on which one is formed which will operate appropriating the territory of that instrument so versatile that allow you to obtain information about a single object or an entire system of spatial objects.
We can distinguish two approaches prevail: a first approach to testing and connected to the "construction of knowledge", aims to build a second design forms to facilitate the graduates la comprensione delle dinamiche in atto in un territorio ed ipotizzare scenari alternativi di intervento.

We can distinguish two approaches prevail: a first approach to testing and connected to the "construction of knowledge", aims to build a second design forms to facilitate the graduates la comprensione delle dinamiche in atto in un territorio ed ipotizzare scenari alternativi di intervento.

metropolitan city and urban regeneration
metropolitan city and urban regeneration.
act on the physical city, economic and social
Carla Maione
Because the construction of the metropolitan city is not reduced to the creation of a supra-party bureaucratic in nature, without any real impact on the development of the area and quality urban, but instead set in motion a project to build a true virtuoso "new city" which can act as a directional pole in the heart of the Mediterranean, we need to respond effectively the objective of urban regeneration - that the policies of urban development / territorial aimed at improving quality of life through better urban public space - and act on the territory after having investigated the social aspect, that is putting at the forefront of our actions, the centrality of each individual, and then combining areas; PLANNING with those of social action.
should then a reflection on the actors and to be involved, programming and planning tools as appropriate, without neglecting ex ante what will be the most convenient practices in given situations, to fully implementing the objectives of the programming and planning. By adopting certain practices - how to define (re-define, re-think, plan and re-design) the best strategies and tools - , rather than other, more suitable to other companies rather than those in which we operate, it should be analyzed the implementation processes through the study and evaluation of significant cases, the acquiring mode most innovative tools oriented to the development of a polycentric metropolitan city like that of Reggio Calabria.
If one aims, in particular, to act in a metropolitan city through urban regeneration, necessary, by a consolidated methodology, the examination of case studies to prepare themselves significant, and if possible to their monitoring, examining similarities and differences in definition and implementation of this particular type of urban policies, with respect to the range of choices among those applying in metropolitan contexts. While remaining firmly anchored to the specificities of local contexts, is possibile da esperienze diverse, consolidate e verificate in Italia ed all’estero, comparare le caratteristiche dei diversi strumenti finalizzati alla rigenerazione urbana, di valutarne divergenze e/o convergenze.
Lo scopo is to stimulate local economic development by supporting and promoting small local cultural industries.
So, we are witnessing the development of infrastructure and services for cultural production and planning of cultural districts that are trying to find the city with their traditional role as places of social life, of 'accessibility to services , activities, culture, combating social and environmental degradation that has reduced or even canceled these opportunities.
Recall that since the seventies, and especially in European and international context, policies urbane, commerciali e culturali iniziano ad assumere una maggiore rilevanza nelle strategie urbane, sempre meno fondate su rigidi strumenti di piano, ma sulla partecipazione, sull’equità sociale, e più in generale sulla democratizzazione dello spazio urbano come specchio/contenitore di rinascita della “vita pubblica” urbana.
A partire dalla svolta degli anni Ottanta si affermano approcci che esaltano il contributo potenziale della politica culturale nella rigenerazione, urbana economica e fisica, e dalla seconda metà degli anni Novanta tale convergenza tra cultura ed economia, nelle politiche urbane, si è maggiormente accentuata, e lo studio and the debate about the relationship between city and territory, culture, creativity and economic development has intensified with the statement of the theories of "creative city" and the "creative class", and "cultural districts".
During a study trip in Europe, investigating the theme of the relationship metropolisation / regeneration, particularly in the case of the city of Copenhagen, referring to the 70s and 90s, to the early years of the new millennium, I wondered what could be the key PROVISIONS of an urban policy at Community level, adaptable to our context, I was able to verify the feasibility of a range of assumptions regarding possible means of urban regeneration, finding answers adeguate su come va pensato e progettato, e come va rivitalizzato un intero contesto urbano/metropolitano.
In Italia, e nel Mezzogiorno in particolare, attorno al tema della qualità urbana and sustainable development were identified overall goals that put some urgency. The reorganization of the metropolitan areas of the South, for example, is identified as an inescapable urgency that is reflected in the critical conditions of particular cultural, socio-economic infrastructure in metropolitan areas and southern part of the overall urban structure of the country.
Another emergency identified above for urban systems in the South is the need to create and strengthen networks of medium and medium-sized cities and to connect them with the more established urban systems.
Vorrei concludere con alcune considerazioni inerenti l’applicazione di politiche di rigenerazione urbana in un contesto come quello dell’area metropolitana di Reggio Calabria and its neighboring municipalities (cities not only because orbiting satellites / orbiting within the neo Reggio metropolitan area, but to consider, while respecting the identity and history, an integral part of it): complex issue, because it is complex the object towards which they direct actions, and this is a great time to find unity within our culture that integrates policy choices, social and urban planning.
But what are the cultural conditions and assumptions to be taken?
is indispensable today, not only to consider the specificity of places, the permanence of settlement structures, respect the different quality of fabrics and urbanized, enhance local cultures, but to reinterpret the procedures for training and development of different parts of area, enhancing the potential infrastructure with nodes and networks and intentional aesthetic, tradition, culture, identity and respecting the needs of the community.
Considering, for example, the actions implemented to address the issues of great social unrest, present in some neighborhoods, it includes how to restore buildings and the surrounding environment is only the starting point: important element is the participation of the inhabitants, both in the planning phase in the implementation of the interventions. Only through the active involvement and participation of citizens is in fact possible to implement real change, through natural regeneration, even that of their experiences of exclusion and hardship, provided that, starting from their perceptions, usually negative and defeatist, it provides recognition of their knowledge, skills and knowledge.
Reiterating within large areas, and metropolitan area is among them, the centrality of the territory, read the tracks to reinterpret the features, forms sedimented over time, not to underestimate the other dimensions of economic, social, functional and policies but rather to recognize the severe constraints (choices) that policies aimed primarily the physical territoriality has exercised and still exercises on the same social and economic relations, while on the contrary it is not only the action "physical", but an intense action of "social promotion" in public areas and networks by identifying the signs of change, in ways of living and use the land.
